30 minutes before sunset
I am not very good at bird identification, so I am asking the WordPress community to help me out. I snapped the above image in Tachikawa (Japan) yesterday. I see them often in Yamanashi Prefecture, where I live, as well. Any ideas?
Update: Since making this post, I have learned that the bird in question is a Japanese wagtail.
Their songs were sung without a care
for those who slumbered soundly there.
This morning, I was happy to be awoken by the cheerful songs of some little barn swallows.
